Experience:

Greg draws on a wealth of experience including being the Head Coach and Tennis Development Officer at one of the largest clubs in the South West, the Avenue LTC, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset. Where he organised and implemented the full coaching programme, in conjunction with the LTA’s Community Tennis Partnership scheme. In charge of a team of eight coaches, he sent out to coach in fourteen surrounding primary schools, to then link back to the club. The programme grew to a point where it was servicing over 1000 junior players, and around 400 adults every month, all year round.

Increased the number from 7 to 15 juniors involved in County Training.

Trained Sally Clarke up to a standard where she was picked to represent Great Britain in the National Deaf Team to compete in the Olympics (Australia 2001).

 

Captained the Avenue LTC Men’s 1st team, to 3 Somerset League Championships in 4 years.

Represented Somerset alongside Lee Childs (National GB Singles Champion & Wimbledon Player) in Summer and Winter County Cups.

Played alongside Tom Spinks, former Wimbledon player, British No 5, in the National Club League for Next Generation Club Bristol, in which they reached the finals at Telford in 2004.
